Visiting Migrant Worker Families….

We surprized Maria Angela and her children(Franklin, Elisa, Edgar, Osman,

Oscar,Adonias, Vilma, Abner and Sandra),

…..we brought in lunch, some

Christmas gifts and groceries.  The dad and husband, Bartolo, moved to

Quebec, Canada to work three weeks prior to us coming.

The street to Carmela’s is very steep and extremely narrow….

Carmela’s husband Max is also in Quebec, Canada.  Carmela

is home with her children Ever, Ender, Amarilis and Lidvina.

Max had built a wall surrounding their property and two sides

came down when Hurricane Agatha hit….they lost $3000.00US

in bricks and cement.

The public health nurse came to give Lidvina her polio shot…

she mentioned that a child is malnourished if their forearm

measures less than 11 cm…..Lidvina was in great shape.

The only part of the wall that is still standing……
