To be a Reader today creates a Leader for Tomorrow….

…the November team brought 400 books with them to leave at

the school in Chimixiya…we delivered the books in January when school

started and the excitement is rising….

…the kids and their favourite books….

..one of the teachers is sharing a book by Max Lucado,

“Martina, a cucarachita, muy linda”

it is about a bug whose name is Martina, Catalina, Josphina…

..this is one of the moms whose child is sponsored…

when she met us in January she had very red eyes and

told us that she loved to read but her eyes got very sore…

we found a temporary solution….we got her reading glasses….

next we will take her to a eye specialist and get proper glasses for her….

She was so excited to read one of the kids books!

“To learn to read is to light a fire; every syllable that is spelled out is a spark.”

— Victor Hugo, Les Miserables
