Look Out Mexico, Here We Come……

…Kaelen, deciding what he would like….

…that looks great!….

…giving the guys a tour of the clinic…

…”you light up my life”…

…it’s a dirty job but someone has to do it…

…a journeyman mudder….

…time to paint door jams and doors….

..yes, sometimes even Judy gets to work!….

…who is going to get to sleep under the stars?????

…our guard gecko….

…shopping in the city of Cuauhtemoc….

A party store….

…security guards in a fabric store…yeah, right!…

….the watermelon were so good!….

…our church for now…..

…the beautiful end to a great day….

…after three evenings of rain we were blest with a double complete rainbow…

It’s a good thing that when God created the rainbow

he didn’t consult a decorator or he would still be picking colors.

  1. The work looks impressive! Love the rainbow. Is the building a church ?

    • Not sure which pic you are referring to but if it is the one where Philip is showing the guys that is our medical clinic…the one on the hill as we were driving out of Juarez is a Catholic church…..

      • sorry, I looked at the pic again and yes it WAS a church…so much dissention that it was shut down 12 years ago…
but the good news is that it is being converted into an orphanage and refuge center for kids whose parents are in rehab…..there are alot of parents who are alcohol and drug abusers!
So all the classrooms will be bedrooms, the sanctuary is half dining room and half bedrooms and then they converted the two classrooms upstairs into bathrooms with 8 showers/bathtubs and 8 toilets….
