My daughter and her boys were visiting from Canada and I took them to the garbage dump

area of Escuintla.  Friends from BuildinGuate work with the people on the dump, feeding

them and providing studies at the local school.

They wanted to dedicate an area on some land that they bought.  The land will have 10 houses, a medical

clinic, a feeding center and a ministry center.

They also wanted to dedicate an area under this tree for a playground in memory

of Philip.  “Parque de Abrazos”….the Park of HUGS….

We cried and then blessed the area with a prayer of dedication…..

A cross was hung on the tree as a symbol of Philip’s love for the Lord….

Thank you to Oscar and his many volunteers who have done an amazing work

in this area…..
